I brought my Saab into Desi Auto Care when the A/C suddenly gave out—right when the heat kicked in, naturally. They figured out the compressor had failed, walked me through the fix. Honestly, it’s tough finding a place that really knows Saabs, but these folks clearly do. Felt totally taken care of.

I appreciate the service they provided. I had a check engine light on the dash. In about a day, car is back and there are no lights on my dash flashing! Well worth the price!! I like the between updates they gave about the vehicle and repair process. I recommend them for sure.

Best repair shop experience I’ve had! The service team was able to replace our alternator within two hours on a Friday morning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We now have a favorite shop whenever we’re in town. We are so impressed. If you need anything for your car, this is the place to go.

I had a terrible situation with my car and needed it quickly repaired to get back to college on time from Maryland to Princeton University. There was a winter storm that came in and had to close the office days before the weekend when they are closed. But the owner came in on Saturday on his personal time to let me get my car and make it to school on time. These guys are absolutely great!

When I noticed the engine was running rough and the turbo seemed to be lagging the team diagnosed a failing boost control value and replaced it. After the repair, my Saab’s turbo response was back to its lively self, and the engine runs smooth now.

I own a Saab I brought in for its 165K checkup. A great way to judge mechanics is whether or not they try the scare tactics on you. These folks did nothing like that. They pointed out what might need to be done now, what could wait, and were pleasant and prompt.

I’m more than happy to bring my other cars to them for repairs.

Josh is the one of the best mechanics I have ever encountered. He caught a mistake (engine leak) made by another mechanic and goes above and beyond every time I bring my Saab in. If you own Saab, or another European car. I HIGHLY suggest bringing it here. If you want honest, professonal service, this the shop to go!

My Saab has had some serious problems.... These folks are the real deal. I had another shop send my car away because they didn't want to deal with it. Josh looked at it head on and did perfect work. My favorite car is running great after ripping half of it apart. Really impressed with their job and their communication.

Muffle shaking- decided to take it to Desi Auto to get it looked at. I drive by a hundred times but had never been. When I got there, Christian told me they had just fixed that same problem on another Saab and parts are hard to find because they don’t make that part anymore. He just used his last one but will check to see if he had another. After a while he came out with the part and showed me how to fix it, because I like to do my own small repair works.

When I was driving on main road, my Saab suddenly shut down. (Approx 80,000 miles) Also, engine and electrical systems turned off totally. This happened few times. I was able to restart whenever car shut down. Chris inspected and explained, that ignition switch is causing for shut down. I got my car back and it ran like a charm!

There was a number of lingering issues that repeatedly were not getting figured out. I heard about Chris and thought that I would give him a try. He diagnoses and identified 3 different issues and got fixed, never to return.

My two doubts about repair shops also cleared while dealing with Desi Auto Care, they only replace part which really needs replacement and will recondition/fix stuff that can be. They're very skilled and I recommend them to all of you.

This was the third shop I brought my car that no one else could find and fix. I was driving on my local street, I tired to reach for sunglasses in passenger seat, drew my hand back making small gentle contact with ignition key in center console and my Saab shuts OFF! I barely touched my key. 2nd time though I hit it with my coffee cup (from Dunkin). Then this Tuesday it happened again 3rd time. Now it is very easy to bump it with my arm and have it shut OFF!

Chris explained breaking it down so it is easy for me to understand and gets things ok’d before doing the ignition released repair. He not only fixed it but when I got my vehicle back...it drives like almost new car and that is saying something with a 14 year old Saab with 109k miles on it. Great job done!

Totally organized in their appointments. Mine is an old car. I got alternator, sparks plugs and corroded wires ABS traction control light warning issue fixed. They do know Saabs.

My car was lightly burning a lot of engine oil, while I was driving at a school zone. The check engine sign light came on as did the oil indicator light. Blue smoke was coming from the exhaust hose. Saab is out of business, no dealerships, and no help. I took my car to Desi Auto Care. The mechanic diagnosed the engine coil was necessary to replace. Car was repaired on time. I certify, if you own a Saab, Desi Auto Care is the only place to go.

Bought used from auction and after 135k miles, needed some repair work. Josh diagnosed the car, then called me before he starts any work to go over what was the issue and if I wanted to move forward. After fixing a few items, my car ran like it never did before!

It’s so refreshing to know you can trust a repair shop when these Saabs can be money pits if taken to the wrong shop. Just wished I lived closer to shop location.

Mechanic Josh improved my car beyond SAAB's OEM specifications: ever since I bought this used car, the rear brake pads had randomly thrown off clouds of black brake dust, making the wheels a super nuisance to clean. When I mentioned this, Josh eliminated the issue by installing special brake pads. Brake dust gone completely!

I have had repairs done for crankcase pressure created oil leaks from the timing cover and rear main seal, (few other items done within last 5 months timing belt, a/c repair, muffler replacement, brakes etc.) by Sam and his team and can honestly say I'm pleased with his Saab-craftsmanship! You can't find this kind detailed job and passion anywhere and at a fraction of the cost. Anyone I've referred has always thanked me for finding them an honest mechanic and for all the money they saved.

The air conditioner of my car was not working properly. He put freon in it, did a test drive and did not even charge me any money (I guess I'm a regular customer, that's why). In case if you go to other shop, they charge you am arm and a leg. I always go to Desi Auto Care, because I know few other customers were asking to fix the Saab issue. When it comes to Saab it is hard to find mechanic like Josh.

Potholes are your cars worse enemies! After an inspection they found a busted bearing, spindle road and other wheel items. We had limited time to get it repaired or else we would be stuck. All the parts are hard to find for my old Saab. Ugg!

Still, we made it back to Phila without any problem, and the wheel did great. I recommend Desi Auto Care without reservation!

Folks are knowledgeable about Saabs, it's a rare skill.

They do repair it right the first time. One mechanic shop butchered a CV joint replacement on my car and had to have it re-done. Desi Auto Care did a sharp job, and also fixed other lagging issues, which I was avoiding since long time. If you love your Saab and want to keep it running well, give them a try.

After getting car wash, my car broke down (car begun to stall I heard a loud whining and car began jerking, speeding up, slowly down and dead) at Posh Car Wash across from Desi Auto Care and the employees were helpful to push my car to their shop. Next morning and they diagnosed the Electronic Stability Control issue. Diana informed me the status of repair.

I will definitely recommend them. Andrew was a pleasant to work with.

I have gone with list, replacing a radiator, tie rods, bushings, steering rack, and some other items. Chris always does a perfect work. sometimes it can take a little while, and show you something that is wearing out, and you might decide OK and you can replace that too. He will order the part while you are there and that is what can take a little longer. But not to worry because he will not try to nickel and dime anyone. Chris not going to try to charge you extra, it will save you money because if something else will need replaced you can do it all at once instead of having to pay for labor twice.

Windshield water leak - cost me $0. after knowing that I have a limited budget, to fixing the issue, mechanic figured a way to bypass it. By disconnecting the electrical cord, and plugged a tube going toward the head light spray, the leak was stopped and I was able to spray my wind shield again. Girl in front desk didn't charge me for this. Many thanks.

Hearing some weird noises from my 9-5 for a month. My car never made this noise before! Either that or I’m just going crazy. Desi Auto Care scheduled an appointment on Tue noon, Chris found the source of the issue - a faulty front wheel rear bearing. This would’ve been very bad if not taken care of as my front wheel could’ve eventually fallen out while driving at Turnpike worse!

Chris show me old parts when my car was fixed (with two years warranty parts-labor and all...) I think I found a reliable mechanic in the Jersey!

Mechanic was great to deal with, professional and knowledgeable about my old car. Went for an oil change and few other normal maintenance things, I will be back after two weeks for exhaust leak to be fixed. It's not easy to find reliable Saab technician. Glad to find one!

Engine coolant loss issue-estimate was provided quickly and was accurate. Scheduling was easy and service was completed on time and actually under estimate. Would highly recommend having your Saab serviced here. You know- - Saab dealer is no more in business.

I am very careful of taking my very dear saab anywhere for repair, but having a car that was out of warranty and then need of repair I came here. Chris was able to pinpoint and fix my air conditioning system and other issue: started spewing out white smoke. He also replaced my valve caps. There were some small extra things he did that I didn't find on the bill, which of course was very nice. I had it back the following day. There are always European cars being fixed here so I'm sure I'm not their only (new) loyal customer ! Best to call for an appointment.

He repaired my grease leakage around CV Boots. He knows more about Saab's then i can possible imagine. Every time I go in it's a more learning about my car. I took my car there. I needed an oil change, new tension belt, idle pulley and tension assembly. I called around but nobody wants to work on Saab. They got me in Tuesday and had my car back to me on Wednesday. Beforehand it sounded really clunky and now it purrs like a brand new car. Sam got the parts same day. He even stayed late after the shop was closed to make sure the car would be ready for the morning. If you're looking for affordable Saab service give them a shout.

Nice friendly service from very knowledgeable saab technician (very few in Tri-state). If you prefer to receive high end service then get your saab checked/repaired here with Sam and his crew.

Saab mechanics are rare-I have been going to Shawn for so many years, this is my 3rd SAAB, I trusted him wholeheartedly. He won't ask you to do anything that you don't need to, that is very important and your car run very well.

Shawn is experienced about potential issues with Saab models (ours was a chain tension issue) Jessica made sure that all our questions were addressed to our satisfaction. I won't forget the awesome Red Saab that was in the repair bay for ignition misfiring issue.

I could take my Saab and Audi to shop more convenient to where I live on the Atlantic Shore, but I wont. The workmanship and fair pricing is second to none. My Saab recently needed a head gasket replaced. While Shaun was doing the job he also replaced a variety of other parts that were future fail points that would have required additional labor. Since he was into the job already he did not charge me additional labor to replace the other parts. Even though I live far away, I will recommend more clients to him.

I dropped my Saab off and spoke with Shawn about the oil leak and other problems I was having. He had a few ideas about what might be the issue and he said he would call and he had diagnosed all the problems and took the time to explain what he found and the option available to fix it. Given that one of the problems could be completely priced out until they were able to get things apart, they gave me an options on pricing, one if additional parts needed to be replaced and one if they didn't.

Nice to find honest clean shop in the Stratford that know there stuff (cool Volvo 240 was there also)

Andrew and Shaun are very knowledgeable about Saab's, which is a rare skill in New Jersey. Both guys fix it right on the first time. My loyalty for Saab continue since long...time. I was devastated when they discontinued the brand. I currently own two Saab's. When we moved to Philadelphia from Texas, I was worried about finding a good technician.

My concerns have been put to rest! Sean is awesome! He is fair, honest and thorough. He sources the new parts and lays out all options. I recommended him to a friend with an older Saab and he had a fine experience too.

Had transmission job done at Desi Auto Care on my 7 yrs. old Saab 9-3. Appointment was easy to get, everything was done on time as promised. And I didn't have to come back to have issues addressed. Couldn't wish for anything else! Kudos!

Honest, down to earth service. No BS or run-arounds. I have him change my oil before and now he just did my breaks rotors-pads, steering lock malfunction and replaced shocks/struts on my Saab 9-5 Aero. His prices are low.

If you're Saab owner, you know how difficult to find the right mechanic to work on these finicky cars - Sean is your guy! Meet him once; you'll know what I'm talking about. He literally has every detail of these cars memorized, and that's extremely important with an unusual car like a Saab.

Ryan at Desi Auto Care performed a front-end alignment and installed new tires. Awesome job! It's an old Saab and was having an issue with loosening the bolts. The extra work performed was not charged. The dealer would have charged me more for sure! Also, I just dropped by without an appointment on Saturday (because of my travel emergency) and he fitted me right in without hesitation. Thanks for humanized customer service.

I was looking for someone to work on my Saab and found Andrew/Desi Auto Care through a Google search on my cell phone as I was going home. We chatted, and I explained that I knew what the error code was and wanted to know his price to do the job. He told me to bring the car in and he’d put it up on a lift and walk me through everything in detail. We ended up finding more work than I expected which was overdue maintenance like brakes, rotors, valve cover gaskets, valley pan gaskets, solenoids, power steering hose, etc.……. I felt he was honest and did the work for a fair price. My car needed to stay extra day because of delayed parts delivery and he paid for my Uber. Everything he fixed I saw with my own eyes before and after I made the call.

No warning, my driver's side front strut spring just broke. I drove yesterday and Saab was fine, went to back out of garage and a terrible grinding, scraping noise occurred. Discovered the spring broke and rubbing against tire. Luckily this did not occur while driving on highway; it could have caused tire blow out and an accident hurting my family. After fixing my car Desi Auto Care even showed me the old spring and the wear that had occurred. I'll be back whenever I have another problem. Legit shop.

Saab - Most service centers do the hit-or-miss way of fixing things. Sean is very knowledgeable about the Saab's and their little idiosyncrasies. Saab is a special car and Saab owners ..... well, we're a special bunch. Nobody I have ever found knows the cars like he does, his rates are always fair, and the work is always done to a high degree of quality. To prove my point: Once, my car blew a belt and erupted in a hissy fit of steam. As soon as I describe the issue on the phone, He knew exactly what had happened and how much it would cost to fix.

The "nasty engine oil sludge leak" issue was taken care by him in April. Yes, it's tough to get an appointment here; budget at least a week to get your Saab. But if your car is having a emergency, he can usually fit you in ASAP. Cheers to the best damn Saab mechanic I know!

My vote of confidence for Shawn - a friendly, honest mechanic is hard to find. He'll often perform little fixes for no charge. He'll let you know what work you really need for your Saab and what you can do without.

Called him to get my car's brake booster repaired. Got exact quote over the phone. Price was cheap so I had other repairs done too. He is an obvious expert in his field; he seems to be a person of integrity-showed me the old part he changed. He has a humanistic approach to dealing with customers. Waited for a week for an appointment but it was well worth it.

I have been taking all my cars to Desi Auto Care since I found them last year. This Saab was with my brother in Maryland for last few years, so desperately he brought to local mechanic and it was his biggest mistake. After he visits me in South Jersey last weekend. We got 301 error code issues, so we took it to Sean; he found out that Maryland local mechanic was using all the wrong parts - plugs, belt etc. Saab's are awesome, but it makes huge problems if you repair with regular shop which is not specialized in Saab. Sean is the best Saab Master Mechanic between Philadelphia and New Jersey.

I starting to hear popping noise from the steering shaft but I ignored. It was when anti-lock brake system (ABS) light came up. I decide to take to specialist. Mike removed steering shaft and re-installed using thread locking compound on bolts and due to water intrusion ABS wire harness connectors at the front wheel speed sensor was corrode. He replaced the connectors, ABS light gone for good! Very fair pricing.

I went to Desi Auto Care to look at an oil leak on my Saab fearing the worst expenses are coming to me. Shawn diagnosed the problem very quickly-A leaky oil pressure sensor. I stayed in the waiting room while problem was getting fixed, 1st time for a good price. All repairs guaranteed for two years with parts and labor time. Free drinks, snacks, coffee in clean office waiting area is a bonus.

I'm loyal Desi Auto Care customer since 2016 to keep my old Saab on the road. Latest, they totally overhauled the engine and replacing all the gaskets, water pump, timing chain, belt, rings...Cost was about $4K. This was 60% less than other shop quoted me. It was burning a QT of oil every 900 miles. currently odometer showing 192,000 miles. Also installed a used more powerful turbocharger, it was in good shape. job was done in 3 days.

As I expected, following happened:

I visited again to replace the oil pressure sensor, gasket and hose re-attached that was blown off because of higher powered turbo. They worked late hrs to get my car done on time. I appreciated this.

When engine control module failed on my daughter's Saab. While driving on 295 North, the engine simply turned off and lost power brakes, power steering etc.engine didn't restart. The local Saab dealer quoted $1370 for a new ECM, so we walk away. Eventually we had to replace this ECM part at Desi Auto Care and they found a used ECM from a crashed Saab 9-3. There is special software to "sync" the ECM with the car. Total cost me $280! Clean shop, clean mechanics.

I was having soft and somewhat fading brake pedal. Pedal continues to slowly fall as pressure is applied. All new genuine pads, rotors and both rear calipers. Neither fluid leaks nor air in system. My Saab is old with lots...of miles.

I noticed Desi Auto Care on SaabNet forum where people praise this shop, Master technician Shawn was right with the defective master cylinder, and the hoses. Hose can "flex" as they get older. (My car-savvy neighbor told me same thing!). Price was right and work was done on time.

He gives honest advice (you like it or not) and is really a pleasant person to deal with. I'm a lifetime customer, much obliged to Shawn!

This shop is very efficient from my point of view, my SAAB 9-3 needed was showing a " Steering Lock Malfunction" error... and after 1 day and 90$ the problem is gone...they called and keep me informed.

This team worked so hard for and doing better, I wish Sean, Sam, Taylor, Drew, Jonathon, Elliot and Mike much continued success as I have watched their business grow and thrive by being honest, doing expert SAAB work, and treating customers and what they drive with respect. It doesn't get any better.

These guys were incredible - I showed up today in my Saab unannounced with a busted after-market ignition cassette that a slime ball Philadelphia Mechanic had installed (as a "new part") back in December. Without missing a beat, they offered to order and install the part that day-without charging anything fro labor!

" You've been through enough already" Sam said. My faith in the humanity of auto shop has been restored.

I took my SportsCombi in to get new brakes installed and an some other repairs and they did a great job. The Master technician (Shawn) was very courteous, informative, the work was done quickly, and the pricing was fair.

They checked in a week later, with a courteous phone call making sure things were still alright. The car feels great. It really needed those new brakes! He gave me 2Years/24k miles warranty including parts and labor.

They're so informative, and they check and double check their work to make sure you are driving a safe car.

So the problem was the top, windshield wipers and windows did not work. I tried to fix, I came to the conclusion that the only way I could fix it was with a Tech II reader (GM"S crazy idea).

I called Desi Auto Care. My problem turned out to be a short circuit somewhere in the car because the Tech II said there was nothing wrong with the car (see I told you). Andrew said these cars have a drain hole in the rear area of the car that sometimes gets plugged and the water gets up to the harnesses and shorts out the car. He had to take apart the whole rear interior of the car to check and of course that is what happened.

Everything works on my Saab now! I know he spent a lot of time on the car so I didn't mind spending the money. But it was not expensive. At one point both him and were working on the car. I can do most stuff on my own and will on the weekends. But when I need a Saab expert I know I can call on them.

Thank you Andrew and Sean for getting my Viggen topless again! Cheers!

Time after time, whenever my SAAB breaks, Desi Auto Care has been my go-to repair shop rather than SAAB dealer. Shawn once fixed a vacuum leak in less than 10 minutes, when the dealership was telling me it was a throttle assembly and rear O2 sensors (the very $$$$ expensive one)

This time my car was losing power. Shawn diagnosed it was a bad coils and plugs. I called SAAB and they didn't even have parts in stock. Shawn told me he could have the parts by tomorrow. He gave me a breakdown of the quote. I checked the parts online and it was lower than the prices I saw.

When I went to pick it up, he had the bad coils and plugs on the table for me to see. That was impressive!! He showed and explained what was happening and why it needed to be replaced in detail.

The waiting room is very clean, nice red chairs with a fridge filled with free cold beverages.

I brought my Saab into Desi Auto Care when the A/C suddenly gave out—right when the heat kicked in, naturally. They figured out the compressor had failed, walked me through the fix. Honestly, it’s tough finding a place that really knows Saabs, but these folks clearly do. Felt totally taken care of.

Best repair shop experience I’ve had! The service team was able to replace our alternator within two hours on a Friday morning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We now have a favorite shop whenever we’re in town. We are so impressed. If you need anything for your car, this is the place to go.

I had a terrible situation with my car and needed it quickly repaired to get back to college on time from Maryland to Princeton University. There was a winter storm that came in and had to close the office days before the weekend when they are closed. But the owner came in on Saturday on his personal time to let me get my car and make it to school on time. These guys are absolutely great!

When I noticed the engine was running rough and the turbo seemed to be lagging the team diagnosed a failing boost control value and replaced it. After the repair, my Saab’s turbo response was back to its lively self, and the engine runs smooth now.

I own a Saab I brought in for its 165K checkup. A great way to judge mechanics is whether or not they try the scare tactics on you. These folks did nothing like that. They pointed out what might need to be done now, what could wait, and were pleasant and prompt.
I’m more than happy to bring my other cars to them for repairs.

Josh is the one of the best mechanics I have ever encountered. He caught a mistake (engine leak) made by another mechanic and goes above and beyond every time I bring my Saab in. My Saab has had some serious problems.... These folks are the real deal. I had another shop send my car away because they didn't want to deal with it. Josh looked at it head on and did perfect work. My favorite car is running great after ripping half of it apart. Really impressed with their job and their communication.

Muffle shaking- decided to take it to Desi Auto to get it looked at. I drive by a hundred times but had never been. When I got there, Christian told me they had just fixed that same problem on another Saab and parts are hard to find because they don’t make that part anymore. He just used his last one but will check to see if he had another. After a while he came out with the part and showed me how to fix it, because I like to do my own small repair works.

When I was driving on main road, my Saab suddenly shut down. (Approx 80,000 miles) Also, engine and electrical systems turned off totally. This happened few times. I was able to restart whenever car shut down. Chris inspected and explained, that ignition switch is causing for shut down. I got my car back and it ran like a charm!

There was a number of lingering issues that repeatedly were not getting figured out. I heard about Chris and thought that I would give him a try. He diagnoses and identified 3 different issues and got fixed, never to return.
My two doubts about repair shops also cleared while dealing with Desi Auto Care, they only replace part which really needs replacement and will recondition/fix stuff that can be. They're very skilled and I recommend them to all of you.

This was the third shop I brought my car that no one else could find and fix. I was driving on my local street, I tired to reach for sunglasses in passenger seat, drew my hand back making small gentle contact with ignition key in center console and my Saab shuts OFF! I barely touched my key. 2nd time though I hit it with my coffee cup (from Dunkin). Then this Tuesday it happened again 3rd time. Now it is very easy to bump it with my arm and have it shut OFF!
Chris explained breaking it down so it is easy for me to understand and gets things ok’d before doing the ignition released repair. He not only fixed it but when I got my vehicle back...it drives like almost new car and that is saying something with a 14 year old Saab with 109k miles on it. Great job done!

Totally organized in their appointments. Mine is an old car. I got alternator, sparks plugs and corroded wires ABS traction control light warning issue fixed. They do know Saabs.

My car was lightly burning a lot of engine oil, while I was driving at a school zone. The check engine sign light came on as did the oil indicator light. Blue smoke was coming from the exhaust hose. Saab is out of business, no dealerships, and no help. I took my car to Desi Auto Care. The mechanic diagnosed the engine coil was necessary to replace. Car was repaired on time. I certify, if you own a Saab, Desi Auto Care is the only place to go.

Bought used from auction and after 135k miles, needed some repair work. Josh diagnosed the car, then called me before he starts any work to go over what was the issue and if I wanted to move forward. After fixing a few items, my car ran like it never did before!
It’s so refreshing to know you can trust a repair shop when these Saabs can be money pits if taken to the wrong shop. Just wished I lived closer to shop location.

Mechanic Josh improved my car beyond SAAB's OEM specifications: ever since I bought this used car, the rear brake pads had randomly thrown off clouds of black brake dust, making the wheels a super nuisance to clean. When I mentioned this, Josh eliminated the issue by installing special brake pads. Brake dust gone completely!

I have had repairs done for crankcase pressure created oil leaks from the timing cover and rear main seal, (few other items done within last 5 months timing belt, a/c repair, muffler replacement, brakes etc.) by Sam and his team and can honestly say I'm pleased with his Saab-craftsmanship! You can't find this kind detailed job and passion anywhere and at a fraction of the cost. Anyone I've referred has always thanked me for finding them an honest mechanic and for all the money they saved.

The air conditioner of my car was not working properly. He put freon in it, did a test drive and did not even charge me any money (I guess I'm a regular customer, that's why). In case if you go to other shop, they charge you am arm and a leg. I always go to Desi Auto Care, because I know few other customers were asking to fix the Saab issue. When it comes to Saab it is hard to find mechanic like Josh.

Potholes are your cars worse enemies! After an inspection they found a busted bearing, spindle road and other wheel items. We had limited time to get it repaired or else we would be stuck. All the parts are hard to find for my old Saab. Ugg!
Still, we made it back to Phila without any problem, and the wheel did great. I recommend Desi Auto Care without reservation!

Folks are knowledgeable about Saabs, it's a rare skill.
They do repair it right the first time. One mechanic shop butchered a CV joint replacement on my car and had to have it re-done. Desi Auto Care did a sharp job, and also fixed other lagging issues, which I was avoiding since long time. If you love your Saab and want to keep it running well, give them a try.

After getting car wash, my car broke down (car begun to stall I heard a loud whining and car began jerking, speeding up, slowly down and dead) at Posh Car Wash across from Desi Auto Care and the employees were helpful to push my car to their shop. Next morning and they diagnosed the Electronic Stability Control issue. Diana informed me the status of repair.
I will definitely recommend them. Andrew was a pleasant to work with.

I have a strong mechanical background, and have watched the way Desi Auto Care has been to me for since few years. They has listened to my concerns of noises and other issues and diagnosed many of my issues on the spot, turned those into quotes and put the technician to work on my car.

I have gone with list, replacing a radiator, tie rods, bushings, steering rack, and some other items. Chris always does a perfect work. sometimes it can take a little while, and show you something that is wearing out, and you might decide OK and you can replace that too. He will order the part while you are there and that is what can take a little longer. But not to worry because he will not try to nickel and dime anyone. Chris not going to try to charge you extra, it will save you money because if something else will need replaced you can do it all at once instead of having to pay for labor twice.

Windshield water leak - cost me $0. after knowing that I have a limited budget, to fixing the issue, mechanic figured a way to bypass it. By disconnecting the electrical cord, and plugged a tube going toward the head light spray, the leak was stopped and I was able to spray my wind shield again. Girl in front desk didn't charge me for this. Many thanks.

Hearing some weird noises from my 9-5 for a month. My car never made this noise before! Either that or I’m just going crazy. Desi Auto Care scheduled an appointment on Tue noon, Chris found the source of the issue - a faulty front wheel rear bearing. This would’ve been very bad if not taken care of as my front wheel could’ve eventually fallen out while driving at Turnpike worse!
Chris show me old parts when my car was fixed (with two years warranty parts-labor and all...) I think I found a reliable mechanic in the Jersey!

We took our car to 2 different repair shops and they only caused more damage. My wife found this shop online, and we just got our car back, major repair completed within 3 days and I'm impressed + very satisfied with service, also tomorrow we will be dropping off my Jaguar to get repair done, very cost effective. Mechanic was great to deal with, professional and knowledgeable about my old car. Went for an oil change and few other normal maintenance things, I will be back after two weeks for exhaust leak to be fixed. It's not easy to find reliable Saab technician. Glad to find one!

Engine coolant loss issue-estimate was provided quickly and was accurate. Scheduling was easy and service was completed on time and actually under estimate. Would highly recommend having your Saab serviced here. You know- - Saab dealer is no more in business.

I am very careful of taking my very dear saab anywhere for repair, but having a car that was out of warranty and then need of repair I came here. I was not sure what was wrong and Drew figured it out to be just a thermostat and had my car back on the road in a few hours and I've brought my mother's 2001 saab 9-5 for maintenance back here, always getting flawless service 10/10

Chris was able to pinpoint and fix my air conditioning system and other issue: started spewing out white smoke. He also replaced my valve caps. There were some small extra things he did that I didn't find on the bill, which of course was very nice. I had it back the following day. There are always European cars being fixed here so I'm sure I'm not their only (new) loyal customer ! Best to call for an appointment.

He repaired my grease leakage around CV Boots. He knows more about Saab's then i can possible imagine. Every time I go in it's a more learning about my car. He always makes sure i know exactly what it going on with my car my taking me inside the garage repair are and what the risks and rewards are. I drive all the way from Wilmington, Delaware just to see Sean. He always takes care and isn't like most other auto mechanics who try to swindle you and upsell you. He makes my experience very comfortable, and even takes time to show and explain Saab things to me; he is the only Saab specialist mechanic in the area. I took my car there. I needed an oil change, new tension belt, idle pulley and tension assembly. I called around but nobody wants to work on Saab. They got me in Tuesday and had my car back to me on Wednesday. Beforehand it sounded really clunky and now it purrs like a brand new car. Sam got the parts same day. He even stayed late after the shop was closed to make sure the car would be ready for the morning. If you're looking for affordable Saab service give them a shout.

Nice friendly service from very knowledgeable saab technician (very few in Tri-state). If you prefer to receive high end service then get your saab checked/repaired here with Sam and his crew.
They do great repair/maintenance but do not do body work.

Saab mechanics are rare-I have been going to Shawn for so many years, this is my 3rd SAAB, I trusted him wholeheartedly. He won't ask you to do anything that you don't need to, that is very important and your car run very well.
Shawn is experienced about potential issues with Saab models (ours was a chain tension issue) Jessica made sure that all our questions were addressed to our satisfaction. I won't forget the awesome Red Saab that was in the repair bay for ignition misfiring issue.

I could take my Saab and Audi to shop more convenient to where I live on the Atlantic Shore, but I wont. The workmanship and fair pricing is second to none. My Saab recently needed a head gasket replaced. While Shaun was doing the job he also replaced a variety of other parts that were future fail points that would have required additional labor. Since he was into the job already he did not charge me additional labor to replace the other parts. Even though I live far away, I will recommend more clients to him.

I dropped my Saab off and spoke with Shawn about the oil leak and other problems I was having. He had a few ideas about what might be the issue and he said he would call and he had diagnosed all the problems and took the time to explain what he found and the option available to fix it. Given that one of the problems could be completely priced out until they were able to get things apart, they gave me an options on pricing, one if additional parts needed to be replaced and one if they didn't.
Nice to find honest clean shop in the Stratford that know there stuff (cool Volvo 240 was there also)

Andrew and Shaun are very knowledgeable about Saab's, which is a rare skill in New Jersey. Both guys fix it right on the first time. My old repair shop guy butchered a CV joint replacement and I had to get it redone. Desi auto care did an excellent job and fixed a number of lagging maintenance problems. If you're like me and want to keep that Saab running well, then this is your shop.

My loyalty for Saab continue since long...time. I was devastated when they discontinued the brand. I currently own two Saab's. When we moved to Philadelphia from Texas, I was worried about finding a good technician.
My concerns have been put to rest! Sean is awesome! He is fair, honest and thorough. He sources the new parts and lays out all options. I recommended him to a friend with an older Saab and he had a fine experience too.

Honest, down to earth service. No BS or run-arounds. I have him change my oil before and now he just did my breaks rotors-pads, steering lock malfunction and replaced shocks/struts on my Saab 9-5 Aero. His prices are low.
If you're Saab owner, you know how difficult to find the right mechanic to work on these finicky cars - Sean is your guy! Meet him once; you'll know what I'm talking about. He literally has every detail of these cars memorized, and that's extremely important with an unusual car like a Saab.

Ryan at Desi Auto Care performed a front-end alignment and installed new tires. Awesome job! It's an old Saab and was having an issue with loosening the bolts. The extra work performed was not charged. The dealer would have charged me more for sure! Also, I just dropped by without an appointment on Saturday (because of my travel emergency) and he fitted me right in without hesitation. Thanks for humanized customer service.

I was looking for someone to work on my Saab and found Andrew/Desi Auto Care through a Google search on my cell phone as I was going home. We chatted, and I explained that I knew what the error code was and wanted to know his price to do the job. He told me to bring the car in and he’d put it up on a lift and walk me through everything in detail. We ended up finding more work than I expected which was overdue maintenance like brakes, rotors, valve cover gaskets, valley pan gaskets, solenoids, power steering hose, etc.……. I felt he was honest and did the work for a fair price. My car needed to stay extra day because of delayed parts delivery and he paid for my Uber. Everything he fixed I saw with my own eyes before and after I made the call.

No warning, my driver's side front strut spring just broke. I drove yesterday and Saab was fine, went to back out of garage and a terrible grinding, scraping noise occurred. Discovered the spring broke and rubbing against tire. Luckily this did not occur while driving on highway; it could have caused tire blow out and an accident hurting my family. After fixing my car Desi Auto Care even showed me the old spring and the wear that had occurred. I'll be back whenever I have another problem. Legit shop.

Saab - Most service centers do the hit-or-miss way of fixing things. Sean is very knowledgeable about the Saab's and their little idiosyncrasies. Saab is a special car and Saab owners ..... well, we're a special bunch. Nobody I have ever found knows the cars like he does, his rates are always fair, and the work is always done to a high degree of quality. To prove my point: Once, my car blew a belt and erupted in a hissy fit of steam. As soon as I describe the issue on the phone, He knew exactly what had happened and how much it would cost to fix.
The "nasty engine oil sludge leak" issue was taken care by him in April. Yes, it's tough to get an appointment here; budget at least a week to get your Saab. But if your car is having a emergency, he can usually fit you in ASAP. Cheers to the best damn Saab mechanic I know!

My vote of confidence for Shawn - a friendly, honest mechanic is hard to find. He'll often perform little fixes for no charge. He'll let you know what work you really need for your Saab and what you can do without.
Called him to get my car's brake booster repaired. Got exact quote over the phone. Price was cheap so I had other repairs done too. He is an obvious expert in his field; he seems to be a person of integrity-showed me the old part he changed. He has a humanistic approach to dealing with customers. Waited for a week for an appointment but it was well worth it.

I have been taking all my cars to Desi Auto Care since I found them last year. This Saab was with my brother in Maryland for last few years, so desperately he brought to local mechanic and it was his biggest mistake. After he visits me in South Jersey last weekend. We got 301 error code issues, so we took it to Sean; he found out that Maryland local mechanic was using all the wrong parts - plugs, belt etc. Saab's are awesome, but it makes huge problems if you repair with regular shop which is not specialized in Saab. Sean is the best Saab Master Mechanic between Philadelphia and New Jersey.

I starting to hear popping noise from the steering shaft but I ignored. It was when anti-lock brake system (ABS) light came up. I decide to take to specialist. Mike removed steering shaft and re-installed using thread locking compound on bolts and due to water intrusion ABS wire harness connectors at the front wheel speed sensor was corrode. He replaced the connectors, ABS light gone for good! Very fair pricing.

I went to Desi Auto Care to look at an oil leak on my Saab fearing the worst expenses are coming to me. Shawn diagnosed the problem very quickly-A leaky oil pressure sensor. I stayed in the waiting room while problem was getting fixed, 1st time for a good price. All repairs guaranteed for two years with parts and labor time. Free drinks, snacks, coffee in clean office waiting area is a bonus.

I'm loyal Desi Auto Care customer since 2016 to keep my old Saab on the road. Latest, they totally overhauled the engine and replacing all the gaskets, water pump, timing chain, belt, rings...Cost was about $4K. This was 60% less than other shop quoted me. It was burning a QT of oil every 900 miles. currently odometer showing 192,000 miles. Also installed a used more powerful turbocharger, it was in good shape. job was done in 3 days.
As I expected, following happened:
I visited again to replace the oil pressure sensor, gasket and hose re-attached that was blown off because of higher powered turbo. They worked late hrs to get my car done on time. I appreciated this.

When engine control module failed on my daughter's Saab. While driving on 295 North, the engine simply turned off and lost power brakes, power steering etc.engine didn't restart. The local Saab dealer quoted $1370 for a new ECM, so we walk away. Eventually we had to replace this ECM part at Desi Auto Care and they found a used ECM from a crashed Saab 9-3. There is special software to "sync" the ECM with the car. Total cost me $280! Clean shop, clean mechanics.

I was having soft and somewhat fading brake pedal. Pedal continues to slowly fall as pressure is applied. All new genuine pads, rotors and both rear calipers. Neither fluid leaks nor air in system. My Saab is old with lots...of miles.
I noticed Desi Auto Care on SaabNet forum where people praise this shop, Master technician Shawn was right with the defective master cylinder, and the hoses. Hose can "flex" as they get older. (My car-savvy neighbor told me same thing!). Price was right and work was done on time.
He gives honest advice (you like it or not) and is really a pleasant person to deal with. I'm a lifetime customer, much obliged to Shawn!

This shop is very efficient from my point of view, my SAAB 9-3 needed was showing a " Steering Lock Malfunction" error... and after 1 day and 90$ the problem is gone...they called and keep me informed.
This team worked so hard for and doing better, I wish Sean, Sam, Taylor, Drew, Jonathon, Elliot and Mike much continued success as I have watched their business grow and thrive by being honest, doing expert SAAB work, and treating customers and what they drive with respect. These guys were incredible - I showed up today in my Saab unannounced with a busted after-market ignition cassette that a slime ball Philadelphia Mechanic had installed (as a "new part") back in December. Without missing a beat, they offered to order and install the part that day-without charging anything fro labor!
" You've been through enough already" Sam said. My faith in the humanity of auto shop has been restored.

I took my SportsCombi in to get new brakes installed and an some other repairs and they did a great job. The Master technician (Shawn) was very courteous, informative, the work was done quickly, and the pricing was fair.
They checked in a week later, with a courteous phone call making sure things were still alright. The car feels great. It really needed those new brakes! He gave me 2Years/24k miles warranty including parts and labor.
They're so informative, and they check and double check their work to make sure you are driving a safe car.

So the problem was the top, windshield wipers and windows did not work. I tried to fix, I came to the conclusion that the only way I could fix it was with a Tech II reader (GM"S crazy idea).
I called Desi Auto Care. My problem turned out to be a short circuit somewhere in the car because the Tech II said there was nothing wrong with the car (see I told you). Andrew said these cars have a drain hole in the rear area of the car that sometimes gets plugged and the water gets up to the harnesses and shorts out the car. He had to take apart the whole rear interior of the car to check and of course that is what happened.
Everything works on my Saab now! I know he spent a lot of time on the car so I didn't mind spending the money. But it was not expensive. At one point both him and were working on the car. I can do most stuff on my own and will on the weekends. But when I need a Saab expert I know I can call on them.

Time after time, whenever my SAAB breaks, Desi Auto Care has been my go-to repair shop rather than SAAB dealer. Shawn once fixed a vacuum leak in less than 10 minutes, when the dealership was telling me it was a throttle assembly and rear O2 sensors (the very $$$$ expensive one)
This time my car was losing power. Shawn diagnosed it was a bad coils and plugs. I called SAAB and they didn't even have parts in stock. Shawn told me he could have the parts by tomorrow. He gave me a breakdown of the quote. I checked the parts online and it was lower than the prices I saw.
When I went to pick it up, he had the bad coils and plugs on the table for me to see. That was impressive!! He showed and explained what was happening and why it needed to be replaced in detail.
The waiting room is very clean, nice red chairs with a fridge filled with free cold beverages.
