I am SO happy I found Contra Costa Auto Service for my Saab! I discovered them through SAABShops.com. When I initially visited Contra Costa Auto Service’s website, I didn’t see Saab listed, but my gut told me to call and double-check — and I am so glad I did.

They are incredibly responsive and thorough. For the first time since my previous mechanic retired around 2020, my check engine light is finally off! Previously, after every repair, the light would turn back on even after being cleared. While I was still able to pass smog (just barely), I knew this time would be a challenge.

Contra Costa Auto Service found the small leak where an aftermarket hose had not been installed properly by another mechanic. CCAS have been so accommodating throughout the entire process.

I’ve had my Saab for over 20 years. She was the first car I purchased after graduating from college. After losing my veteran brother to suicide, the car gained even more sentimental value — he was trying to help me restore her. She is now my project in his honor.

Another bonus: Contra Costa Auto Service offers a 24,000-mile/24-month warranty. My goal is to get her to her 30th birthday — and until then, I still love driving her!

Saabs are such fun cars when you have the right mechanics who understand their quirks and nuances. Even now, heads still turn when I drive her — and that always makes me smile. I like to think my brother is smiling from heaven too.
